When I reckon about this refer to, it reminds me of last year’s Kennedy Center Honors program and Jon Stewart’s words as he described Bruce Springsteen…
"Whenever I see Bruce Springsteen do whatever business, he empties the tank… every time. And the gorgeous business about this man is he empties that tank for his family, he empties that tank for his art, he empties that tank for his consultation, and he empties it for his country. And we, on the getting end of that gorgeous gift are ourselves revived, if not redeemed."
That "every time" is what gets me.
