Business planning for independents
Whenever I’m invited to see a “business plotting expert” speak, I admit that I’m usually quite cynical. Too many era I’ve just heard a bunch of platitudes or generalities. That’s why I was so satisfied with a presentation by Judi Hughes of Your Plotting Partners last night, presented by the IABC/Toronto Professional Independent Communicators (PIC). (Disclosure: I chair this group, but did not book the speaker.)
In about an hour, Judi led us through her structured program, designed to help independent practitioners (of any stripe) to “get off the fragmented-focus treadmill” and really and truly focus on the factors that can make the business a on the rise success.
