Keller on Being Bold
“Avoiding danger is no safer in
the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as
the bold.”
– Helen Keller (1880–1968)
American humanitarian
advocate for the deaf and blind
Sales expectations…
What you expect to happen – what you believe in your mind – can have a tremendous impact on what really does happen.
If you’re going to try to accomplish something – if you make the choice to make the attempt – the best business you can do for yourself (and your colleagues) is to expect a clear outcome. Whatever business else can only inhibit your efforts.
Worst-case: If you fail, you get an education for your future efforts.
Minimize your doubts, be positively expectant, and Cross The Line.
Remember…
We earn more challenges by dealing with and overcoming more challenges.
Embrace your experience. Delight in the weather.

Have you signed the Declaration of Contribution? We’re over 3000 signatures (a small small of our goal of having more signatures than Kim Kardashian has fans) and would like it if you joined us.
I wrote it up to help us remind ourselves to be a part of the solution and make excellent things happen for other people. You can sign it online here (and get a printable version).

If you’ve not seen it… Here’s Eric Thomas on Work (calls himself the Hip Hop Preacher – 5-minute video). It’s meant for students but it’s reminded me more than once to work hard and focus.
