Time to Think (cross the line)

cross: (verb) 1. to go from one side to another 2. to pass over mediocrity

Where am I excellent at crossing the line?
(Work, relationships, parenting, wedding ceremony, education, sports… How can I make sure I stay strong?)

Where am I challenged with crossing the line?
(Why? What’s getting in the way?)

What unimportant activities are taking away from my efforts to cross the line in the vital areas of my life?
(With what am I wasting time and effort? I can’t cross every line but I need to cross some of them.)

Who do I admire for crossing the line?
(These are the people I can try to be more like and the people I can recall when things get tough.)

Who could I team up with to hold me/ ourselves accountable?
(Needs to be someone who wants to cross the line, tell the truth, and is comfortable with getting uncomfortable.)

Where do I unquestionably want to cross the line?
(Top 5? If restricted to 2 areas, what would they be?)

Am I willing to place in the effort to increase in the areas I’m challenged?
(It’ll be hard. I’ll make mistakes. I’ll need to be hard-wearing and committed.)

Who should I minimize (eliminate) contact with?
(My time is restricted. I need to let go of those who drain it.)

What should I allow to have my attention?
(Everything has an influence on me… terrible web, radio, tv, whatever business can hold me back. Make a list of the clear influences you’ll embrace and the negative influences you’ll eliminate.)

By what date will I cross the line in my top 2 areas of concern, regardless of challenges and circumstances?
(A specific date will help me hold myself accountable.)

“The business that cowardice fears most is choice.”

Soren Kierkegaard
